Oh, hi! You're the first person to comment on my blog, welcome! :) The box (I'm pretty sure it is a box now, but I still can't get it open) is kind of heavy...but it doesn't really smell like anything.
Hey Becka! The box sure does look interesting... I'm so curious as to what might be in there? Does it rattle when you shake it? Maybe you'll need some kind of special key to open it?
The side with the blue decoration shaped like a kite is the front of the box... I can see the hinge on the otherside of the box....the easiest way to open it would be to use a jigsaw to cut the hinges and open it from the back
@David: I guess I *could* try to open it like that, but I don't want to damage it. I think it's kind of pretty. Plus, it looks like it might be valuable. Someone could be looking for it. If they are, I wouldn't want to give it back broken. (Still want to see if anything is in there though ;) )
@Casey: lol yeah, sometimes, you have to take the coffee pot out and get it cleaned. :)
I'm really into history, I'd like to do something related to studying in the future. Right now I work at a retail store, And I'm taking some college classes. :)
Oh, which college are you taking courses from? I'm a bit of a history buff myself, and archaeology, particularly those about the ancient civilizations. Very exciting stuff!
Ancient civilizations and languages are really neat (especially languages that use different scripts than our Roman symbols: Egyptian, Chinese, Aztec and Mayan too!) Goodness, now I want to go re-play Riddle of the Sphinx II! Archaeological fun!
@Victor: Yes, it is, and fun to talk about! :) No offense, I'd rather not say what school I'm at, since it's not a good idea to say too much about location on the internet. ;)
@Kujira: You're welcome :) Thanks for reading!
@David: As I said before, I don't want to resort to that yet. As of now, one of the dials has turned, so maybe I can get it open without the crowbar, and keep the box in one piece. ;)
