Weird Dream

Welcome to the people who are reading my blog now! I'm excited that you're here. :)

I had the weirdest dream last night. There were these symbols swirling around, (I think clock-wise??) and when I could see them clearly, two of them were in color. The weird thing is that when I woke up, the symbols were on a piece of paper by my bed, and there was ink on my hands. I must have drawn them in my sleep! I circled the two that were in color in my dream, and made a scan. Here it is. I wonder if I made the symbols up or if I've seen them somewhere before and forgotten them. It probably doesn't matter, though.

  1. Glad I checked back here. Might have missed this post! And the images seem to be consistent with art from the Mayan/Aztec/Etc civilizations. South American.

    Unrelated, I

  2. Erm.

Unrelated, I am wondering where that geocache was at? I love me some travelling, and I would like to get my name on that list as well. You might also want to use a tripod in future videos.

  3. Got it for you.

Not sure as to the meaning, or how you dreamed it up, though people often pull out images seen from years ago in their subconscious, but those are images from the Aztec calendar.

  4. Oh, and the ones you circled means "wind" and "reed" respectively. Brought anything to mind, Becka?

  5. You should check the box you found at the geocache to see if any of the symbols on the paper match up.

Especially look for the two symbols you circled. If you do find them, maybe try pushing them to see if there's some type of release to open the box.

  6. Becka, I'm wondering if "wind" and "reed" may have something to do with the box you have. There may be a way to open the box by blowing into it, or putting something like a straw inside a hole and blowing into the straw?

Do you see any holes where a "reed" or a straw would fit in, or any area on the box you could blow into?

  7. One more suggestion on those symbols you drew!

Those two symbols mean "north" and "east". I noticed on the box there are several decorations that seem to have compass-like sections to them. Perhaps one of the ones that represents "Northeast" will turn out to be a button to press!

  8. I would bet money that if you put the clasp of the box to the northeast and then press the 11th and 13th of the shiny coin-looking things, i bet it'll open.

  9. Do you think, being that those symbols were moving clock-wise, that they may represent some form of a clock? Maybe the symbols you've circled point to a specific time...or not. Just thinking out loud.

  10. Wow, a lot of activity here, I didn't think people would really be *this* interested in my dream.

Lets see. I'll try to answer as much of this as I can. It's funny that the symbols are Aztec. I haven't studied much about the Aztecs (even though I love history), but I guess I should look into what we know about them, since my sub-conscious seems be be interested.

The symbols aren't anywhere on the box I found. I don't know why so many people think the dream and the box are related. Just for fun, I did try to see if I could push anything in (like a button) but nothing worked. It looked like it has dials, but those pieces won't move, either.

And no, there aren't really any holes. (I tried blowing on the box, but it just made me feel silly.)
